Start with what you notice

You don’t need to diagnose it.

Tell us what your system is doing. We’ll discuss the next step with you.

Warm air

The system runs, but your home isn’t cooling.

Weak airflow

Little air is coming through the vents.

Unusual sounds

Something sounds different when the system runs.

Won’t turn on

The system is not responding as expected.

Water or ice

You see water near the indoor unit or ice on the lines.

Short cycling

The system turns on and off more often than it used to.

How we approach repairs

A proper diagnosis comes first.

An AC problem can come from many places: the outdoor unit, the indoor unit, the thermostat, airflow, or the electrical supply. Guessing wastes your time and money, so we start by finding the actual cause.

Once we know what’s wrong, we explain it in plain language and talk through your options before any work begins. If the system is older and a repair may not make sense, we’ll tell you that too, and you decide.

A customer’s experience

I highly recommend this heating and air company! My old air conditioning system was having problems, and getting it repaired was extremely important, especially with how uncomfortable it was getting. They showed up when they said they would, took the time to properly diagnose the issue, and got my A/C back up and running.

Before you call

A few practical answers.

Can I call after normal business hours?

Yes. Apex Air offers 24/7 service availability. Normal hours are Monday–Friday, 7 AM–5 PM Central. For urgent or after-hours help, call rather than sending a request.

Does a service request book an appointment?

No. A request tells us what’s going on. A member of our service team will contact you to confirm the next step. For anything urgent, call instead.

What if replacement makes more sense?

If an assessment shows replacement may be the better choice, we’ll explain why and talk through your options. You can read more on our AC installation and replacement page.

Is there anything I should check before calling?

Make sure the thermostat is set to cool and the temperature is below the room temperature, and check that the breaker for the system hasn’t tripped. If it still isn’t working, call us. Please don’t open electrical panels on the equipment yourself.
